Adoption Fees & Pricing
All of the money from adoption fees go directly back into the rescue and 100% of the fees go to saving more dogs. Here at Pulled From The Pits we work hard to keep our operating costs low so that more animals can be saved and benefit from what we do.
Adoption fees are subject to change at anytime without notice, however our goal is to be as transparent as possible.
*Effective January 1, 2021 our adoption fees will be changing to align more with the costs of veterinary care and transport fees in which we have to pay*
Dog Adoption Fees
Puppies (under 12 months) - $550
Adults (over 12 months) - $450
All dogs come fully vetted with age appropriate vaccines (including Distemper, Bordetella, Leptospirosis, and Rabies Vaccine). All of the dogs are spayed/neutered before leaving our care. Dogs over 6 months of age will have a 4DX test to check for tickborne disease as well as heartworm.
Cat Adoption Fees
All cat/kitten adoption fees are a flat rate of $175.
All cats and kittens will come with distemper vaccine, rabies vaccines and will be spayed/or neutered before leaving our care.
A surrender fee of $250 will apply for dogs that are not current on vaccines or already spayed/or neutered. This fee will go towards the cost we pay to get your dog fully vetted and ready for adoption to their new family.
A suggested surrender fee of $100 will be asked for when a dog is current on all vaccines and already spayed/or neutered. This fee will go towards the cost of housing/feeding/caring for your dog until we find their forever family.
A surrender fee of $75 will be for any cat that is not already vetted or spay/neutered. This fee will go towards the cost of getting your cat ready for adoption into his/her new family.
