LUCY

Lucy started out as a Foster. Once she settled in we knew she was here to stay.

SOBEK

I’d never had a cat before Sobek was my first foster for pulled from the pits. He stayed in the garage until it got cold. I tried to keep him away from my dogs not knowing how they would react. It wasn’t long before they claimed him and he was home.

BUMBLE & LADYBUG

We’d been on the hunt for kittens to complete our family for quite a while. After several leads fell through we got a message from Kelly saying she had 2 sisters that were ready for their furever home. We picked “Lady Bug” and “Bumble” up just a few days later and we all fell head over heels in love. We knew instantly that these two babies were who we’d been searching for! We’re so grateful to Pulled From The Pits for finding us the perfect pair to add to our family!

CYRUS

Cyrus has been a great addition to our family! Adapted so well and is loved by all. Couldn’t have asked for a better fit!

Myles.JPG

MYLES

For-real so blessed I legit praise him everyday on how amazing he is. I can’t get over that someone would leave him on the side of the road. Legit the most sweetest boy ever. However I’ve notice within the past couple weeks he’s been super protective of all us when we are walking. So I know just by him barking at people or other dog approaching us he wants to make sure we are safe and he’s got our back, and then once he sniffs them out he makes it clear if we can pet or talk to that person or dog lol. He’s so funny. We are still training on pooping in the woods he’s been doing it for 3 weeks now so by no time I’m sure he will poop in the woods for good. Lol so thank you again for our precious baby boy!

Peanut.JPG

PEANUT

This little nugget is Peanut. We adopted Peanut into our family this past summer. He is an adorable, super loving and feisty absolute bonehead. Every night I go to sleep with him purring into my ear and most mornings the second my feet hit the floor, he’s yelling at me for wet food. He’s fit into our family so well and we all just love him. My 9 year old son especially adores him. So many thanks for letting us rescue this sweet kitten!!

Jed.JPG

JED - JEDDY POT PIE

(Jed was adopted out of RPC in South Paris, however Kelly was an employee there and she and Morgan played a crucial role in this adoption so we had to share

Tomorrow will be one year since I met my Jed and brought him home.
I was scrolling through the internet looking for any breed dog who was good with kiddos. Then I saw this pup on Petfinder.com, and when I saw his face I decided we were going to get him. I called the Humane Society where he was at to ask a few questions and the next day, I went!
Jed was hyper! I instantly was covered in white dog hair (the new normal around here), and I knew I had to take him home. Jed has some issues with his diet and skin and honestly can be so needy that I feel like he is attached to me. There have been days where I could tell why he was too much of a challenge to others. But I could never give up on him.
This morning I’m cuddled up on my couch with my daughter and my Jeddy. Our home wouldn’t be the same without him. He cuddles all the kids who come over, he goes outside with no leash, and loves the snow. I never have to worry about being cold at night, he sleeps on me. He’s pretty heavy so that’s fun
We’re so grateful for this guy. And to Kelly and all the staff that work hard to find these puppies the home they deserve!
